Crafting a figma Designer’s portfolio site with WordPress & Elementor
This project was focused on building a portfolio website for a Figma UX Designer. The goal was to translate a high-fidelity Figma mockup into a fully functional WordPress website, ensuring a seamless, pixel-perfect design, smooth user experience, and strong performance optimization.
Challenges
Before starting the project, we identified key challenges:
- Converting the Figma design into an interactive WordPress website
- Maintaining a consistent design across different screen sizes
- Ensuring a lightweight, fast-loading experience
- Showcasing UX/UI projects in a visually appealing way
Our Approach
01. Figma to WordPress Conversion
- Carefully analyzed the Figma mockup to match colors, fonts, and layout.
- Used Elementor’s Flexbox & Grid features to create a structured, responsive design.
- Ensured pixel-perfect accuracy using Elementor’s advanced design tools.
02. Dynamic Portfolio Showcase
- Designed an interactive project gallery to highlight UX case studies.
- Used smooth animations & hover effects to enhance engagement.
- Created custom sections to showcase the designer’s skills, process, and testimonials.
03. Performance Optimization
- Optimized images and code for faster loading speeds.
- Implemented SEO best practices to improve search visibility.
- Designed a mobile-first responsive layout for a seamless experience across devices.
04. Lead Generation & Contact Integration
- Integrated a custom contact form for client inquiries.
- Added clear CTAs (Call-to-Action) buttons for potential clients to reach out.
- Implemented social media links to connect with visitors across platforms.
